Atari Teenage Riot
25.05.2019 Kreuzberg Festival Hall
Admission 20:00, beginning: 21:00

It got quiet around Atari Teenage Riot, but members continued to produce. Remixes for Rammstein, Primal Scream and many other artists. Soundtracks and solo albums that won a lot of acclaim from music critics. Alec Empire, for example, received the prestigious Spirit Of Independence Award from Kerrang in 2002! In England.

A future for ATR seemed impossible, but in 2010 they came back with a bang.

They’ve never fitted into a drawer. Without compromise. Atari Teenage Riot’s concerts are so sought after internationally because you feel as a spectator, like you’re on the rave of the future and in a video game at the same time. This is about gaining strength and energy from music. Their live shows are legendary. Action, excitement and adrenaline.

This is also the name of the new Atari Teenage Riot single “Adrenaline” (VÖ at the end of March). Soon after, the 7 Track Mini album “Surveillance vs. Freedom” will follow, on which they worked with Amnesty International hacker Nex. A very exciting project that involves the violation of human rights by surveillance technology.

Atari Teenage Riot have always been trailblazers-they first consistently digitized the fighting spirit of punk and hip hop, creating a new genre: Digital hardcore. This concentrated energy will generate her sixth studio album on a new one. ATR in 90s garb has long been accepted and you keep demanding that Alec Empire and his gang repeat an old recipe for success. However, ATR consistently rejects such practices. The new time needs new methods, but you should never deny yourself.

With a new show, Atari Teenage Riot are back on tour!
