Episode B(lues Brothers:) Putting the Uke Boogie back together

Uke Boogie is Berlin’s open stage for ukuleles and all other instruments that aren’t guitars*.
Come along, watch, listen, perform, come without intending to perform, then do it anyway, or however you like.
Performers can play 2-3 songs depending on how many sign-ups that night.
After a long pause, Uke Boogie is back, and since we are at the letter B, we are celebrating the return with no lesser musical friends than the Blues Brothers 😀
So look for your bowler hats and sunglasses, and please note that
starting from this episode, one of the new hosts and organizers @Grandmouse Flausch will donate a price for the best costume
And our very wonderful host of many beautiful episodes @Robert Charles Wimpory is organizing an electrical keyboard for your convenience.
Should you feel the need for even more convenience and cant manage to carry your Ukulele around all day or something, @Grandmouse Flausch will be happy to lend you hers.
Also, you can make a reservation for a song, if you intend to play a specific song, feel free to write it in the discussion section of this event, and you will be the first to perform this song during the evening. Should someone else have the same idea then, they can still play the song, but then they are the copycat 😀
Show starts at 8:00pm sharp! So please be welcome to arrive a little earlier 😉
Sign up for performing begins at 8pm, come early to ensure you get a spot! Performances will end at around 11pm so space is limited!
Location: Zum Böhmischen Dorf, Sanderstrasse 11 – close U Bahn Schönleinstrasse (U8) or if you don’t mind walking a bit but you hate changing trains, U Bahn Hermannplatz or Kottbusser Tor also work

Uke Boogie is a safe place where racism, sexism, homophobia, xenophobia, all those nasty things have no place.
*Why no guitars? – Most open stages are dominated by guitars so Uke Boogie is a place for all the other instruments to shine!
