FAROFA – Brazilian Day in Berlin

A summer’s day on a Brazilian beach
Sun, heat, music, sports, food, cold beer, friends and lots of fun.
Spending a day on a Brazilian beach is like that.
And it’s this experience that Farofa is bringing to Berlin,
on Sunday 14 July at Strandbad Plötzensee.

The music takes place throughout the afternoon, with various musical groups performing samba, côco, forró, roda de capoeira and other dance styles.

There will be four bands and four DJs playing
repertoire of various styles of Brazilian dance music.
And since the beach always has good food, a variety of traditional Brazilian dishes will be present, prepared with great care, all washed down with a good cold beer.
Artists and craftspeople will be exhibiting their art, which is rich in creativity, shapes and colours, and for the children there will be lots of activities to do outdoors and burn off a lot of energy.

While the children are having fun, the parents

There will be 11 hours of partying on a summer Sunday, as Berlin’s Strandbad Plötzensee beach is transformed into a Brazilian beach.
