Cats & Breakkies are four young Berliners with jazz in their hearts and techno in their genes. In classic band formation, they rock an instrumental DJ live set on stages, floors and at festivals at any time. Always danceable, with the courage for elegiac melodies, opulent breaks and lush pads, they convince above all through the precision in the build-up of tension and the sonic expanse of their arrangements. The sound of artfully interwoven tonal and metric layers has already been described as the Pinot Noir of electronic music: dynamic, hot-blooded and full of character. One can be curious about the third album, which is being worked on diligently and will be released next year!
