Cultural activist with a feminist approach dedicated to bass heavy underground music and experimental electronics.
She seamlessly shifts between scenes and genres, drawing from a foundation in roots and dub, progressing through UK bass-related sounds and techno, and venturing into experimental forms of contemporary electronic and electro-acoustic music. As a live performer, she explores the realm of noise improvisation.
With her ongoing project, “Sound System Culture: On the Radical Roots of Rave,” she initiates events that actively engage the audience. Her radio show provides a platform for dialogue and discovery, inviting guests from her network to share their musical perspectives and favorite tracks.
Eugenia is Co-founder of the Fem*noise network and currently a PhD candidate at the DFG Emmy Noether Research Group “Sound System Epistemologies: Knowledge Engendered Through Practice”

Martin Howse is occupied with an investigation of the links between the earth (geological and geophysical phenomena), software and the a/human psyche (psychogeophysics) through the construction of experimental situations (performance, laboratories, walks, and workshops), material art works, instruments, fictions, texts and software.
Orphans and voids remains as a headless divination for obscure Eurorack assemblages (ERD/TOAD, FUSE, caput draconis and all the colours of the noise), for scattered concrete modules, including dismembered macros, abandoned ergotic pyrotechnics, printed circuit incense clocks, micro-pulsed laser, dusty smoking CPUs, and ill programmed, ill abstracted, ill simulated neurons.
The orphans are the last two Earth Branches (xu and hai), the two that remain after the Ten Stems are combined with the first ten branches. The voids are their two opposites plotted on a circle: the stems chen and si.
The only place where the two systems link is at the hole in the centre, which means that they link in a nowhere, or in a hole. This mysterious hole between the two worlds is in a one-sided way also represented in the Chinese incense clock.
