Working with small family-run wineries that grow organic grapes and add nothing in the vineyard and nothing in the cellar. Low intervention wines are what you’re going to explore. \n🍇 What to expect\nAn interesting and insightful natural wine tasting\, followed by casual wine enjoyment. Wine + snacks.\n‍\n🍇 Registration\nLimited amount of space. Please register in advance to secure your spot.\nAbout the host \nThe SOMA VINES winemaking project was started by Antoine Lucchesi and Daisy Merrick.\nAntoine is originally from Marseille. He studied oenology at the winemaking school in Alsace\, France. After some years working for different wineries in Germany such as Sekthaus Griesel and Domaine Brand in France\, he joined forces with SOMA to begin making his own range of low intervention wines. \nDaisy is originally from Norwich\, UK. After years of working in the hospitality industry\, she went on to study the WSET Advanced\, which led her to London and New York working for well known companies such as Majestic Wine and Chambers Street Wines. After founding SOMA VINES in Berlin\, which started as an importing and distributing company in 2018\, then further developed into a winemaking project with Antoine. Their first vintage was 2020. \nAntoine and Daisy don’t have their own vines right now so they buy grapes from their winemaker friends who work organic and biodynamic\, whilst all sharing the same philosophy. In the cellar they work low intervention. Spontaneous fermentation\, no fining\, no filtration and no added SO2 in the wines.\n‍Cancellation policy \nYou’re free to cancel up to a week before the event.
