This event will mark the first-ever German championship of this esteemed competition\, where the finest Chili eaters in Germany will gather to compete for the inaugural German professional title belt. \nAdditionally\, the festival will host the thrilling finals of the Berlin Amateur Chili Eating Competition. From an initial pool of 50 courageous first-time participants\, we have narrowed it down to the final 15 contenders. They will engage in a fierce battle until the end\, with only one contestant being crowned the local Berlin Chili-eating legend\, this will also qualify the winner to enter the professional event in 2024. \nFurthermore\, we are pleased to announce the “Berlin’s Best Amateur Hot Sauce” competition\, which is open to all non-professional hot sauce makers. Participants are invited to bring their homemade hot sauce to the festival on Saturday\, and the winners will be announced at the festival on Sunday after an audience and judges vote. \nIn addition to the captivating competitions\, the festival will feature over 50 hot sauce vendors from across Europe\, delectable food stalls\, live music\, entertainment\, and a few surprises. This family-friendly event will also include a dedicated kids’ play area within the venue. \nThe festival is free to enter\, but donations are welcome to help cover the costs of the event.
