With dozens of artists who perform at each event\, the Four Play is to be perceived more as a festival than as merely a party. Since the event received its residency at the notorious Kitkat Club\, it spreads over five or six dance floors\, and multiple other performative areas. Along a carefully-curated\, extremely diverse musical program featuring Techno\, House\, Disco\, Psytrance and even Jazz and Soul\, the Four Play offers performative interactive activities\, either in stations around the club\, or as shows that are integrated into the musical program. At the Four Play\, we expect our guests to express themselves in their choice of outfits\, as well as in the program throughout the night. Our emphasis strongly lies on consent and communication. The concept is to create a clear musical distinction between the different parts of the night. We strive to create a clear beginning and a decisive end.\nThe Expeditions’ main focus lies on the classical and traditional aspects of Techno: from Detroit groove to hypnotic and atmospheric storytelling. It is being complemented by the more contemporary interpretations of the genre.\nWe believe in Techno as a journey\, designed for the dance floor\, rather than for podcasts. “When you Stop Moving\, you Start Dying”\, and therefore\, the common denominator to all Expeditions events and curation is energy and movement.\n▆ What to expect\n⦿ Power Deck: Well curated interpretations of classic Techno music: from Detroit groove\, to hypnotics and atmospheric beats.\nNo minimalism\, no sophisticated preaching.\n⦿ Speed Deck: Young\, fresh\, cheeky and trancy contemporary interpretations of Techno.\n⦿ DJs at eye level\, musically educated audience and Berlin underground at its best.\n▆ FAQ\n⦿ Is there a dress-code? – No\, the Expeditions doesn’t have a dress code\, but we do encourage you to be creative when choosing an outfit for the party.\, and to leave your everyday behind.\n⦿ Is taking photos inside the club allowed?\n– No. The Expeditions\, and :// about blank have a strict no-photo policy. We also strongly encourage you to check in your phone at the cloakroom and lose the feeling of time. This is\, however\, not mandatory.\n⦿ Is the Expeditions a safe space for minority groups?\n– The Expeditions\, and :// about blank in general\, are a safe space for any ethnicity\, gender or sexual orientation. Any sign of racism\, sexism\, antisemitism\, or homophobia will not be tolerated. In addition\, you are requested to familiarize yourself with the principles of consent\, and to respect the personal space of any fellow guest. In case you feel that you have been treated wrongly\, or that your space has been violated\, please notify our staff at the entrance immediately.\n⦿ What happens if I’m being denies entry?\n– Firstly\, never take it personally. The admission staff only has but a few seconds to make a decision\, and it is often more based on the situation inside the club than on you. In case you already bought a ticket on pre-sale\, make sure that the bouncer uses the rejection feature in the RA Ticket Scanner App\, and you will receive a reimbursement directly from RA.\n⦿ Do I have to buy a ticket in advance?\n– No\, you don’t.
