Both were born in 68, the year of tumultuous change and revolt.
Both left their native land to seek their fortunes abroad.

Both were instrumental in the 90’s cultural scene: Greg helping in the embryonic stage of the English comedy scene in Netherlands co-running Boom Chicago; Ken helping set up stages for music, poetry and cabaret in the crazy years just before and after the fall of the Berlin Wall. Places like Tacheles, X- B Liebig or the Lohmuhle Waggon site.
Both have stuck to their guns and have watched the projects they helped kick-start flourish or encourage other exciting projects.
Both have watched colleagues and fellow travellers climb to the top in the arts.

Both found themselves thinking ‘Hey, what about me!’
Both Berlin and Amsterdam have grown to be two of the most sought after places to perform on the international comedy and music circuit, due in part to people like Greg and Ken.

So with that in mind we give you ‘The Unsung Heroes’.

Greg achieved critical acclaim with his voice of Trump in the viral video ‘Netherlands Second’. Ken set up a series of autonomous comedy stages which soon became renowned and have featured international acts, prompting Time Out to dub him ‘The Maestro of the Underground’.

You can catch them both in Berlin! Each will do their current solo shows with stories, excellent personifications songs and poems and you can expect a nod to the nineties too.

They will be playing the following 5 shows between 29th September and 3rd October in Berlin.

This is a very special event featuring not one but two of the major instigators in the European comedy scene.

The show is in English but German and Dutch audience members can expect a gag or two or character impersonation in their native tongue too.

Be a hero, too and try and catch them! All of the shows will be great.
